About us - Daisy Gifts Limited is an online shop selling dried flowers and dried lavender for home decor, craft and weddings
Ruth and Mike Ridley's online shop for dried flower stems, botanicals and petals
Ruth was working in a large garden centre on the South Coast of England as a giftware manager in the early 2000s (around the time her two children were born) and very much enjoyed the buying and selling aspects of the job so she left there and incorporated her new company late in 2002.
Early in 2003 the company got their own premises, which was a gift shop in the market town of Hailsham in Sussex.
Very soon, she realised two things: that her shop was performing better online than on the High Street, and that natural products like dried lavender and potpourri were the best sellers.
So now we are online only and specialise in natural botanicals. But our origins as a gift shop can still be seen in our name.

Packing orders and processing flowers
Since 2008 we have been ably assisted by Jo who runs the packing department. She is a fab, hard working and smiley lady who always packs the orders carefully using sturdy boxes and plenty of packing material inside!
Seasonally she may be joined by Ruth and Mike's two children (now adult!).

Our name Daisy Gifts Limited is now a Registered Trademark ® and we have supplied many famous people over the years including:
- Cath Kidston - our dried lavender was used to fill her limited edition vintage fabric lavender bags.
- Disney films - carts full of lavender bunches, flowers for market scenes and many others for the recent live action remakes such as Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin.
- Mamma Mia 2 - those fab bougainvillea petals in the posters, and dried flower bunches for home decor all around the Greek villa.
- Kew Gardens and Wakehurst place shops.
